Daily Discussions on The Kennedy Mystique DVD
Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy have broken up.
The two "Ghost Whisperer" stars have split up but remain friends on the set. For such a lovely woman who seems to be truly a nice person, she really seems to run through boyfriends.
Patrick Kennedy won't run for re-election
Patrick Kennedy announces he will not seek re-election,seems Patrick Kennedy has some very serious addictions in his life that very well could impair his judgment, perhaps it is a good thing he is not seeking re-election. For now this announcement seems to signal the end of a very long Kennedy rein in our government. In my opinion seeing the direct our country has been taken in for some time it is good the old dog's move out of our way, what say you?(End of The Kennedy rein)Rhode Island Democratic Rep. Patrick Kennedy will retire after eight terms in office, bringing an end to his House career just months after his father, legendary Massachusetts Sen. Ted Kennedy, passed away. him off. Kennedy's time in Congress was decidedly uneven. He was rumored to be planning a Senate bid in 2000 but decided against running. He was tasked with chairing the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in that same cycle with expectations within the party that they would seize back control of the House. It didn't happen. After his stint at the DCCC, Kennedy took on a far less high-profile role in Congress -- emerging only infrequently and not always in...
Patrick Kennedy seat is in trouble~John Loughlin could upset the apple cart
Seems like we just had an election in New Jersey that took a prize democrat seat, then in Massachusetts last Tuesday the big golden egg Ted Kennedy's senate seat was won by republican Scott Brown, now looks like their is a republican looking good running against Patrick Kennedy. I have hear different numbers in regard to how many seats the democrats stand to loose, maybe they will come up with a better game plan then the last one,THINK? (Republican John Loughlin could win another prize seat)His opponent, John Loughlin, a state representative, has already raised more money than any candidate before him who opposed Kennedy."In this cycle, with a good candidate like we have with John Loughlin, the national scene shifting away from Kennedy-type politics, and independent voters looking for options, I think he's incredibly vulnerable," Cicione said.Loughlin said the economy has to be the key issue "We need to put the money back into the hands of Rhode Islanders," he said.Patrick Kennedy has been elected eight times but in recent months faced a tough battle with the Catholic Bishop of Rhode Island Thomas Tobin who ordered him not to receive communion because of...
Scott Brown unknowen pick up driving folksy guy walks away with Ted Kennedy Seat
I bet the democrats up on the hill this morning are not having a good hair day. Republican Scott Brown the pick up driving folksy guy unknown 30 day's ago walks away with Ted Kennedy United States Senate seat. Well maybe some will wake up to the fact voters really do like candidates that are folksy, that drive ole pick up trucks, hunt, carry rifles, and talk just like every day folks like Scott Brown and Sarah Palin, what say you?
listened to john f kennedy lately..
I caught pieces from a speeche of John Kennedy recently.. I learned that he sounded pretty big on defense.. and he said the U.S. should remain strong to prevent communism being successful in South America.. Do you remember John F. Kennedy? How old were you at that time? Or is he before your time!? Watching him he seemed like a likeable person. The part of the speech I listened to was at a breakfast in Dallas on the day he was assasinated.
Kennedy funeral cost city $431,000 tax payers dollars!!!
One more waste of the hard working tax payers money, screwed the tax payers even in death, the rich getting richer the poor get poorer and so it always has been and will remain to be so,so long Ted!!!City officials said a federal grant for “urban areas security’’ would cover $400,000 of the cost.According to the city’s tabulation, Boston spent $359,714 on 629 police officers, $36,748 on 48 firefighters, $29,572 on 55 public health and emergency medical workers, $4,350 on 27 transportation workers, and $1,293 on six public works employees. The city workers were used to provide security and crowd control during three days of events marking Kennedy’s death: a motorcade with the hearse that carried the late senator’s body through the city on Aug. 27; a public vigil that drew about 50,000 mourners to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum on Aug. 27 and 28; and a funeral Mass at the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Mission Hill on Aug. 29, which drew 1,200 mourners, including President Obama and many other dignitaries requiring protection.http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2009/09/25/kennedy_funeral_cost_city_431000/
White House to Massachusetts: change the rules to fill Kennedy seat now
Obama pulls string to over step Massachusetts law governing the vacant Ted Kennedy seat, maybe he can put Micky mouse in there THINK!!!!!(Obama changes the rules) If you needed another reason to be cynical about politicians, the president has just provided one in the form of personally urging one of his close supporters -- the governor of Massachusetts -- to change state law so that the governor can immediately appoint a replacement for the seat vacated by the late Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-MA).Current Massachusetts law requires a special election – and one is set for January 19. Candidates have announced and have started spending money in their campaigns. But apparently the White House can’t wait, or, more accurately, wants a hand-picked sure vote for the Obama agenda, NOW. With Sen. Kennedy’s illness and passing the Administration lost a vote, and wants it back ASAP.http://www.examiner.com/x-10711-Raleigh-Political-Buzz-Examiner~y2009m9d22-White-House-to-Massachusetts-change-the-rules-to-fill-Kennedy-seat-now?cid=examiner-email

Obama speaks about Ted Kennedy aired on Las Vegas nightly news. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4Buyu04vP4
What can you say about the recent death of Sen. Ted Kennedy?
As far as I know, Sen.Ted Kennedy was the sole survivor of the Kennedy Brother's which perhaps experienced a peaceful death in comparison to the violent deaths of his brothers. The late senator has triumphantly stirred his political life despite his defeat of the presidential run in the 80's against Pres.Carter. The American people can reflect on his death, that maybe the senator, if given the chance to become a President, he too will guide the nation forward.
Did the Kennedy's fund Obama's Education?
