I would say that my favorite president is Abraham Lincoln. He was the first president I really read up on- my grandmother had the book "Lincoln", by Gore Vidal. It was one of the longest books I'd read before the age of 12, with the exception of The Warren Commission's Report on the Assassination of JFK". Lincoln came from truly humble beginnings. He was basically self-taught, in terms of his education. He fought for freedom and for democracy. He ended slavery in the Confederacy, and did all he could to abolish it forever- securing the addition of the 13th Amendment to the US Constitution. His Gettysburg Address has also been touted as one of the most quoted, most moving, and just all around greatest speeches of all time. Certainly of all presidents to date. | |

| | Who is the greatest comic super villain of all time? | | According to IGN their top three comic book super villains are: 1. Magneto
2. Joker
3. Lex Luthor I have to disagree with their number one villain. Although, Magneto is a powerful villain he has been portrayed as being a good guy before. The Joker has always been on an insane level and always has been bad. Comics have portrayed his darkness, Batman Return of the Joker features the Joker in future Gotham. Finally as we all know the best performance of the Joker is yet to be had until the time of Heath Ledger in the[u]Dark Knight[/u], where he single-handedly revived the name of the Joker, at the cost of his own life. Lex Luthor is also a longstanding villain and has constantly opposed Superman. I would put Magneto as number three. What is your opinion?? | |

Is she real or is she a great tourist trap?Well I have been to Loch Ness many times and seen no sign of her, but there are lots of things that exist that I haven't witnessed!!
The Loch (ie Lake) is so deep who knows what lurks at the bottom of it!In 1934 the famous photo ( that I have included) was taken that was seen as proof of this prehistoric monster's existence, but in 1994 it was exposed to be a hoax.This is not a new story sightings of the monster go back to 565 AD when St Columba is said to have seen the monster!!Thousands of sightings have been reported but we have no proof, is this video proof, take a look and let me know what you think!!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-Q-IwUijoc | |
