| Bush cheats election in 2000! But did he cheat in 2004 as well?? | | Anyone who even paid attention back in 2000 knows that George W. Bush lost the election race for the US Presidency. It was all understood in the end. But unfortunetly Mr. Al Gore conceded and that was that! Let's look at the butterfly ballots in Florida, does anyone really believe they were confusing just on accident. Jeb Bush was the governor of Florida at the time. And what about the overseas ballots from US soldiers that President Bush's campaign people made sure were not counted. Till this day I'm not even sure if any of them were counted into the election results in time. So yes, pretty much every liberal and even alot of conservatives now believe that bush indeed lost the election. But what about 2004? First lets look at all the rumors we hear all the time about the Bush conspiracies. there's one that he knew about sept 11th before it happened, and another that he was even in the planning of it to have a reason to go to war with his enemies. If you believe he truly is that much of a pretty sketchy guy, then lets look at the touch ballot systems of the 2004 election shall we? There were many people who reported voting for Kerry and it... | |
| | Former President Bush has more class than President Obama? | | This is gonna rile some. I know because I have some friends here that are liberals or democrats. But I have watched the news and read some things in the last week that are not looking so good for our newest president. I think that the honeymoon is really over for him with this latest action.
When the attacker went into the Ft Hood area and opened fire it stunned our nation. We have seen too much of this in the last decade and these extremest actions seem to be cropping up more and more. But now I think we really do feel alone.
Our president seems to be disconnected with our feelings about what happened in Texas. He didn't go to the site and he didn't go comfort families at all that I could see.....by contrast former President Bush and his wife Laura made a secret visit to this base where they comforted families and soldiers; some wounded in the attack.
Now we are starting to see discord in the national as well as the foreign press to the attitude that the newest president seems to be showing. His lack of emotion in this latest attack on people of our nation is very disconcerting to those that have watched this drama unfold here and abroad.

| | President Bush at Kansas State University | | I doubt there will ever be an outpouring of appreciation like this for President Obama. It doesn't seem like he works on the side of liberty but instead on the side of tyrants and dictators as demonstrated by his actions concerning Iran and Honduras.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fz_ls-igmxM&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fnicedeb%2Ewordpress%2Ecom%2F2009%2F07%2F&feature=player_embeddedFreedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed.

| | Former President Bush is walking a very fine line with his recent comments. | | I've been pleased with Bush keeping his silence regarding Obama for the last few months, but it looks like things are taking a turn. In his recent speech he didn't criticize Obama, but his statements could certainly be interpreted that way. The things he said that bugged me most were; "You can spend your money better than the government can spend your money."and "Government does not create wealth. The major role for the government is to create an environment where people take risks to expand the job rate in the United States,"Now both of these are true. The problem is that with the bailouts and other crap that he supported these statements directly contradict his actions. Frankly, with Cheney incessantly criticizing Obama's administration I don't see why Bush even felt the need to speak about these things.

| | Iraqi journalist/reporter throws shoes at President Bush | | At first I thought this was hilarious, especially when an Iraqi journalist/reporter, Muntadhar Al Zeidi, threw two shoes at President Bush, and dodged them, but at the same time, I have mixed feelings about this. Bush must really have Iraq riled up a bit to have someone like Zeidi throw two shoes at him. From what i've heard on other news sites and on Youtube, throwing a shoe in Iraq is the equivalent of giving someone the finger, a.k.a. a f**k you gesture. Now i'm an American, but I really have my doubts about this. There are a lot of people who support him, and a lot of people who are against him. It's perfectly understandable to fight back after the terrorists smashed the World Trade Center to a very big column of smoke, but to make people so angry that someone has to throw a shoe in order to get his/her point across...If Bush messed up America and made the Iraqis angry, then maybe he does deserve it.But then again, if you even attack someone with high authority, then it comes back to bite you in the butt in return, in the form of Zeidi's possible imprisonment, for example. One thing's for sure: i'm glad that I didn't vote at all, and even if I did, I... | |
