Daily Discussions on 2008 Presidential Collector Button Set
Looking back on the 2008 Presidential Election...
Looking back, I'd have to say that the 2008 Presidential election was nothing more than the 2 major parties telling the members to sit down, shut up and do what we're told.
2008 Presidential election will be decided by FEAR.
That's right. This election will not be decided based on the issues that face our country; it will be decided by the fears of the voters. When supporters of both Obama and McCain were asked why they supported their candidate the response was not about the good things the candidate was promising concerning the issues. The responses were overwhelmingly about the belief that if the opposing party won the race the country will be completely and totally devastated. They said they MUST vote for one candidate, not because they believed in the candidate; but, because it would be a DISASTER if the other party won.Obama "supporters" are afraid that if McCain wins it will mean a continuation of the policies of the Bush administration and they fear the country will sink further into a recession. They are afraid that they will lose their homes, jobs, and retirement while big business grows even larger.McCain "supporters" are afraid that if Obama wins he will give the country away to foreign interests, betray the American people, destroy and/or overtax businesses (if the businesses fail there WON"T be any jobs), and turn the country into a "socialist" country instead of a...
'2008' Presidential Election (Obama said i am not moving to the right)
Decocratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama rejected charges on Tuesday that he has shifted positions on Iraq and other issues as part of a move to the political center now that he is his party's nominee...My comment on this is: ofcourse Obama flip floped.....again His complicated world view does not have the best interests of Americans in mind. He will be anything you want him to be as long as you vote him into office. Then you will find out the real deal behind Obama's smile...
*2008 Presidential Election* Who Will it Be?
it's time for our previous president of the united states George Bush to pachk his bags and move on out of the white house or make room for our new president president george bush has served his two terms and done everything in his power for our country. But as we know it will be impossible for two presidents to server in the white house so it's only fair for bush to move on out.For our new " 08" president Who will it beThis is my opinion.. a majority and people who i have talked to regarding that Barrack Obama and Hilary Clinton really seems to be in the lead and if this countinues either way would be great becuase America will have our very own First Africian American President or First Female President. What do you think?
The 2008 Presidential Campaign
Will you vote? Who will you vote for? Why will you vote for this person? Who do you think will be the a good asset to our country? It doesn't have to be one person but who do you have in mind, Why?
2008 Presidential Race
Who are you planning to vote for so far? I've been watching the news a lot, and right now I really don't want any of them in office. They are too busy trying to make the other candidates look bad so they will win, instead of talking about what they will do if they win.
Is The Iraq War a Determining Factor in the 2008 Presidential Elections?
Most Americans will agree that they are tired of hearing about the war in Iraq, the death tolls, and sending more soldiers in to Iraq. How important is this issue to you in the upcoming presidential election? Would a candidate's stance on this issue be a deciding factor in gaining your vote? Why or why not? While I agree that the war is dragging on for far too long, I also have to admit that there is no easy answer to this one. I for one would be leary of voting for any candidate that wants to push an immediate withdrawl of our troops. I do not think that reducing the number of troops there would be a problem, but I believe that if we immediately took them all out, we would face serious consequences here at home. What are your thoughts on this issue?
2008 Presidential Election
Who will win this years big election?
2008 Presidential Election
It may seem rather early but the debates and the campaign ads have already started. Let's have a serious, civilized discussion about will be our next Commander In Chief. I'm a liberal and proud of it, but I like to hear from people with other points of view as well as those who agree with me. Let me start it out by asking the perennial poll question..."If the election were held today, who would you vote for and why?" Be prepared to be asked follow-up questions by me and other readers! The field is wide-open now but my opinion is that the GOP has one sorry bunch from which to choose while we Democrats have too many good ones to pick just one. I'm sure someone will disagree with me...LOL!!!
2008 Presidential Election
If you're a citizen of the United States, will you be voting in the 2008 presidential election? If you do plan on voting, and today was election day, who would you vote for to become the next president of the United States? And why would you vote for this person? We haven't come to the primary election yet, but there are so many choices out there right now. I'm pretty sure that there are many people out there that are undecided, so maybe if you're able to share your ideas as to why you might be voting for the particular candidate, you might help a person make a decision.
